Since I used to play the guitar for several years before taking up music creation with a MIDI keyboard, I am totally used to using food switch pedals to affect the sound. Is there a good practice to "do it on the floor" so my hands can focus on playing? Like a foot operated fader controller device?

Guy I love your videos but I think key changes could be explored further. The video skimmed over the 2-5-1 method of changing keys, good to show minor variations of the 2-5-1, (2-7, 57, 1) or using the 4/5 method or modulating up to a major 4th. Interestingly the prolific songwriters Stock Aitken Waterman had key changes in probably 80 - 90 % of their songs, usually modulating up a major 4th, sometimes up a minor third.. Two purposes 1. to give the chorus a lift from a pre chorus buildup and also in many cases to keep the singers limited vocal range within an octave or a bit over an octave. Islands In The Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers is another interesting example of key changes to suit the singers vocal ranges whereas the BeeGees version remained in one key. Thanks again, David

This is perfect. Were you reading my mind? I expected $200+ price tag. $60 is a no-brainer. Can’t wait to get started! I’ve owned Cubase for over a year, and haven’t done anything with it cuz I don’t know what to do. All I’ve used for DAW is GarageBand on my phone.

How to use the thing no one can afford... Stay tuned for "how to drive a Ferrari" 😄👍 I use Reaper, it just works, but it certainly isnt user friendly. Most of the things built into Cubase arent built into Reaper, but you can generally find what you need in the JSFX addon.

I'm going to go for it even though I've been using Cubase for a few years, as I'm sure I'll pick up some useful tips. I have two quick questions... Does it matter which version? (I'm still using Cubase 10.5 Pro). And, is the mixing section done exclusively with Cubase plugins? Thanks. Looking forward to it!

I know you use cubase guy. But It would be an interesting concept that if the instructor (who ever it is) teaches a new software say FL Studio, you will be the student in the video. So we can see a genuine judgement and reaction from someone who knows how to use other DAW but not with the other ones.
